Latest information on our COVID-19 response

Thursday, March 19th

A message to our community:

We wanted to share our plans moving forward at our organization, which include doing everything we can to keep our facility and dispensary doors open.

In the simplest terms, our company and our teams are providing people with essential medicine. State government agencies classify our dispensaries in the same category as pharmacies — places people depend on as a trusted source to get OTC and prescription medicine. Whether our customers use cannabis for pain management rather than relying on opioids, to help with side effects from traditional clinical treatments, or to simply to sleep better, release anxiety or provide mental clarity, our employees are essential in making certain that these individuals can access the products they depend upon — especially now.

This reaches well beyond medical card holders, because the majority of individuals who use cannabis for medicinal purposes don’t have medical cards. That’s why it’s critical that we provide continued access to cannabis — to protect the well-being of all who rely on it to enhance their quality of life, and this includes our adult-use customers.

We are taking every step to provide the healthiest environments in our grow and production facilities as well as our shops, just like hospitals, pharmacies, doctor’s offices and medical suppliers across the country must do. In accordance with CDC and regulatory guidance, we have implemented sanitization and safety procedures at every one of our facilities, enacted social distancing protocols at the retail and manufacturing level, and are proactively utilizing or seeking approval to utilize tools like online ordering, home delivery and curbside pick-up where we can.

As guidance from the state, federal and healthcare communities continues to evolve, we’re taking it all into careful consideration as we implement best practices for the health and safety of our entire community. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to stay ahead of the current situation and will continue to communicate that with you all in a timely manner.

Stay safe, and we will continue to do everything within our power to serve the community.

The Cresco Labs Team

Monday, March 16th

In this trying time, our highest priority is the welfare of our employees, patients, customers and the communities we operate in. With the developing situation across the world, we are committed to doing our part to combat this global public health crisis. We have an internal task force set up and are monitoring this situation daily so we can proactively take preventative measures to maintain a healthy environment at our corporate office, cultivation and manufacturing facilities, and retail stores. Our goal is to maintain production, distribution, and access to the trusted medical and recreational cannabis products that our customers rely on every day.

First and foremost, we take the health of our employees and communities seriously. We have instituted tele-working for the majority of our corporate office staff, put in place an employee travel ban, and activated extra measures at all of our facilities focusing on safety, sanitation, employee shift scheduling, and social distancing.

Second, we are also implementing protocols at all our retail stores to help minimize the spread of this virus, including things like pre-ordering online, delivery (where applicable), and text notifications to minimize customer/patient wait time interacting with other members of the general public. Our retail teams are taking extra precautions by sanitizing heavily touched surfaces throughout the store on an hourly basis.

Finally, we want to remind our patients and customers that our retail stores across the country remain open and ready to serve their wellness needs. We understand that many of our customers use cannabis as part of their daily health and wellness routine, and we take our responsibility as a provider very seriously. We will make every accommodation legally possible to provide convenient access while helping minimize the risk of spreading this virus.

You have our commitment that we are doing everything we can to provide a healthy workplace for our employees and communities and a safe shopping experience for our patients and customers. We will continue to stay close to our partners, health authorities, and local officials and provide regular updates regarding this rapidly changing set of circumstances.

Thank you for your continued support during this unprecedented time.
